A little backstory.

This is a Chinese knockoff version of my favorite sketchbook Potentate makes. They look identical but it all comes down to the fact that the paper both sucks in inks and wetness, holds on to it making impossible to do washes, and then the ink it does suck up feathers. Ultimately I trashed it with experimental colors and used much more graphite then I usually do cause of it.

Contains both drawings from imagination, live studies, study guides, Pinterest and web copies and various other tidbits and explorations.
